Plethora of Incredible Talent
One of the best parts of First Night are the amazing musical and dance performances. Happening all day long, artists from all genres will be performing at various times. Enjoy the synchronized and precious steps of the O’Shea Chaplin troupe, witness the raw talent of Phunk Phenomenon – professional Boston-based dancers recently featured on America’s Best Dance Crew, and groove along to the tunes of Cask Mouse – an American rock band with deep roots in country music. Those aren’t the only acts to look forward to, there are quite a few more, and you can see the entire schedule here.
Pipes and Pops Concert
A fan favorite, the Pipes and Pops Concert is a seasonal classic and will be taking place twice during NYE.
Voted Boston’s Instrumentalist by Young Performer’s Clun and 2015 Grand Prize Winner at the New England Talent Agency Showcase in Music and Acting, Bradley Barlett-Roche is a 14-year-old solo pianist, tenor saxophonist, vocalist, and composer. Oh and he’s from Massachusetts of course! He will be performing on New Year’s Day at noon in Copley Square.
Nearly every exciting and festive event is happening in or around the bustling Copley Square. If you’re visiting Boston for the first time, located in the heart of Boston, Copley Square is nestled in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. Between festivities, consider swinging by one of Copley Square’s most elegant and iconic hotels – Copley Square Hotel.
